Today was relaxing day. We woke up to thunderstorms which
didn’t subside until about 2pm and it continued to rain with a lot of other
blocks of rain on the radar. It was all good through because with all our
walking, our bodies were tired and sore. We cracked our hotel room windows, and let the smell of rain come in the room. We spent the day researching Venice and binging the first part of The Umbrella Academy on Netflix.
Steve did find a restaurant less than
a mile walking so we walked there for dinner. Dinner was great! We shared an
appetizer of bruschetta that had asparagus and bacon on it. It had a white ragu
with meat and noodles. Steve had argula with tomatoes and pasta. He then had a
second course of wild boar stew. I wish had ordered it for myself, it was so flavorful.
Since our day was quite uneventful due to the rain, here are photos of all our food!
